More a thought than an entry.

30 Sep

This novel is making me so depressed. Sometimes I get in bed after writing several pages and just look at Jason and want to cry. I don’t know how to explain that ache of loving so completely; that lurking knowledge that everything beautiful has an expiration date.

Better to have loved and lost than never loved at all…

I’ve felt that way just reading a novel. It must be exponentially more heartening and heartbreaking when you’re writing one of your own.

Ugh, I know. I don’t know what it’s like to write a novel, I really admire you for putting yourself into something so completely. It has to be mentally exhausting at times.

After a death in the family, I can’t help but cling SO tightly to everyone I love. I never realized how uncertain it all really is.

I feel like that ALL THE TIME. I totally know how that feels. I always want to spend every waking moment with my husband and Alyssa (ok, sometimes I do need her to take a nap so I can get a break LOL) & I know sometimes my husband is like GO OUT WITH YOUR GIRLFRIENDS! TAKE A BREAK! *sigh* I just hate how FAST time is going by! Sometimes I wish I can just slow down time! Lots of hugsssss=)

Do you mean finishing the novel? Well just think how satisfied you’ll be to have finished it! And you can always read it again whenever you want.

My heart goes out to you. It’s a big deal that no one but writers really understands.

But don’t worry, as soon as you finish this one and revise, I know you’ll come up with something new to work on.

writing is always a theraphy and helps to let it out, you sure are putting some of yourself in this novel even if it completely comes from your immagination. sometimes i think about it too. i think “what about all these things we’re doing if we are meant to die?” it is an aching feeling.

    lova ya
